Halloween 2008

October brought Lucy back home for about 6 days. The kids got to watch the movie Pete's Dragon for the first time and now they can't stop quoting lines from it, it is great. Nic's favorite line is "a dragon, a dragon I thought I saw a dragon". October also brought out the creative side in our family.. Jon's new cartoon addiction is Ben 10 and with that came the boys halloween costume theme. Jon as Ben 10, Stockton as Echo & Nic as Four-Arms, but there was not alot of room for Syd's costume in that theme so she picked a Baby as her costume. All the boys costumes have to be made, and anyone who knows me knows I am not the seamstress especially without a pattern. So that is when we bring in the big guns-Debbie Purdon the family care taker, she is amazing all around, but even more so when I print off alien pictures from the computer and tell her this is what the boys want to be. Halloween was great and here are pictures to prove it.

Baseball Fall 2008

Also from September 15th to October 15th the boys were in T-ball (Nic) & Coach Pitch(Stock) baseball, and Jon was able to coach Stock's team the Phillies this year. And Nic's team was the Mets, both had a great time. Nic had to miss out on the first 2 games because of surgery, but he picked up really fast when he got to finally play. I think his favorite part was to bat and hit the ball real far. Stockton's team played the only other team for their leavel the Yankies. But they had fun and got to know the other team's players really well. Stock was a great catcher, he would even stop a few balls. He also has turned into a great batter, he gets his elbow up and watches the ball, he even starred giving pointers to the other teams batters when he was on first base.

Lucy is back home for a Fall visit.. the Kids had a sleep over at Grandma & Grandpa Garrisons on Friday the 17th. Then on October 18th we took the kids to This Is The Place Park for a day of fall fun.

Soccer, Baseball, Disney

Well we are very officially into the kids soccer season of 8 games each. And of course both of Stockton's Wed. games have been very cold and very wet. With that said the days before and after have been beautiful, so that basically is my luck. Then Jon started playing on his companies softball team, so we went to his game tonight in very cool weather, again yesterday was beautiful... I really dislike Spring outdoor sports.
Stock has done a 180 on playing soccer from last year, he pays attention and goes for the ball. It is really fun to see him play this year. Syd is very athletic and we are always proud on her ability to play sports. She is playing on a coed team and is not afraid to get in there and take the ball away from the boy players.

We are only days away from Disneyland and all of us are very excited. Lucy is calling every day to see how many more days until she gets to come home and see us, we can not wait!
